One of a kind artefacts in Emerald

Servicing the region for nearly 20 years, Emerald Custom Framing offers photo and fine art printing, custom picture framing, scanning and imaging of artwork, custom mirrors, original art and fine art prints, crystals, fossils, earth-made artifacts, sculptures and jewelry.

With its new venture Raven Orb Gallery opening in March of this year, owners Martha Silver Breninger and David Jones are excited to be welcoming artists and customers back into their businesses.

“We are both very creative and passionate about art,” Martha says.

“We love to support local and emerging artists by offering a beautiful space for them to display and sell their works – art feeds the soul.”

With their business surviving the global financial crisis and two years of COVID restrictions, Martha and David took the initiative to upgrade their stocks and range in the midst of lockdown. Bringing a variety of new crystals, necklaces, pendants, earrings and earth-made creations to the businesses’ offerings, the next few weeks will also see the addition of a large range of ready-made frames.

“All of the crystals and artifacts in our gallery are hand selected by us from top quality suppliers and collectors,” says Martha.

With a focus on preserving and showing art in a variety of forms, David and Martha have over 25 years of experience in custom conservation framing.

“We believe that all art deserves to look its best and also be treated correctly,” says David.

“Our picture frames are of a very high standard, with a sharp focus on conservation and design – we stock some very unique museum-grade pieces that are not commonly available to the general public.”

David and Martha’s online site, www.printnframe.com.au, also offers online custom picture framing and print ordering, with image uploading, multi-photo frames, canvas prints, alphabet art, custom mirrors and a new ‘preview in room’ feature, allowing customers to see their photo, art or mirror in situ prior to ordering.

The business also has a strong emphasis on sustainability: using biodegradable packaging materials for shipped orders, reusing packaging and recycling where possible, and all framing materials sourced from suppliers who manufacture using sustainable timbers and recycled paper and textile products.

Emerald Custom Framing and Raven Orb Gallery are located at 3a Kilvington Drive, Emerald. For more information, phone (03) 5968 3724. Alternatively, email sales@ecframing.com.au or martha@ravenorbgallery.com.au. Trading hours: 9.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Saturday.
