Local handmade goodies on the move

Selling handmade soaps, solid shampoo and conditioner bars and skin care products, Rasling Raw is a wholesome locally-run business with a variety of high-quality products for sale.

Rasling Raw began in 2017 with pop up stores in shopping centres.

As well as handmade goods, the business also stocks locally made bath bombs, crystal lamps and salt lamps, candles, incense and tarot cards, as well as a small range of hemp foods at the Emerald store.

“I’m not sure what drives me, I just know I love it and every day is different,” says owner Rosanne Asling.

“We do so much locally and the team are all locals – the shop in Emerald came along in October 2021 and has been great for the community to shop local, either for themselves or for a gift with a difference.”

One of the business’s most popular wares is its range of handmade crystal candles.

“The candles are made on the premises for our customers to see the process. Once the candle sets, the crystals are placed individually onto the candle by one of the talented team,” Rosanne says.

“Right now, we are getting ready for Mothers’ Day at Chirnside and Emerald, and we will also pop up at Pakenham Central Marketplace and Lilydale Marketplace in mid April until Mothers’ Day,” she says.
