Free webinars for small and medium-sized businesses

All local small to medium-sized businesses have been encouraged by The Eastern Dandenong Ranges Business & Tourism Association (EDRA) to take advantage of a range of free business webinars running between 6 March and the 21 of April.

The strains put on all established and new businesses over the last three years have taken their toll, to say the least.

We have seen changes to trading hours, products and services, staffing issues, customer buying patterns, and more recently the impact interest rates and inflation is having on customer spending and business financability.

EDRA has engaged four leaders in their field of expertise to deliver nine webinars.

Roger Simpson, author of The Ultimate Retail Sales Experience will cover an overview of the current and future state of retail, recruitment and strategies, and how businesses can set up teams to succeed and provide excellent customer service and sales.

Aaron Byerlee is the owner of Airbnb Hosts and will provide insights into the short-term rental market and different business models accommodation providers can run and how to profit from the short-term rental model with very little start-up cost.

Ian Ash is owner of OrgMent Business Solutions, author of ‘From Passion to Profit’ and a regular contributor providing tips on how to be successful in business in the Rangers Trader Mail.

Ian’s sessions cover how you can double net profit, finance tips and tricks, how to develop a strategic plan and goal setting that really work.

Ros Weadman, author of BrandCode and Enhance your Reputation is a specialist when it comes to strategic communications.

Ros’ sessions will help businesses to understand what ‘emotional intelligence’ is and how to use it to connect with their target audience and the essential ingredients to PR and newsworthy stories.

All webinars include a Q&A providing participants with the opportunity to ask questions.

Interested businesses can register for the webinars at edra.org.au
