ONLINE store olindahealth.com.au looks set to be the thriving centre for health in the hills, according to the success of its opening just four weeks ago.
Local residents and health professionals Byron Espedido and Rebecca Prewett felt the need for an Olindabased health clinic offering a range of both conventional and alternative therapies in one central location. “Our primary aim is to provide a much needed resource to local residents, with emphasis on effective treatment.
“So far our success has come through positive recommendations,” said Byron, a physiotherapist for seven years. Massage therapists Vanessa Cortese and Annika Lindberg are proving to be a real hit with the locals, providing a range of massage services, as well as inroom massage and revitalising pamper packages for bed and breakfast guests.
Olinda Health’s holistic, multidisciplinary approach means greater choice and practitioners can work together to achieve better outcomes for patients.
“Many people don’t realise that problems which aren’t responding to conventional treatment, such as chronic neck or back pain, allergies or depression, may respond to therapies that uncover an emotional or energetic blockage which is inhibiting the body’s ability to heal itself,” says Rebecca, a QXCI practitioner.
With current services such as physio, massage, reflexology, acupuncture, TFT (Thought Field Therapy) and QXCI stress biofeedback, as well as health products, Olinda Health has something for everyone. The new centre is at Unit 1, 1606 Mt Dandenong Tourist Road, Olinda. Phone on 9751 0662.
