POLICE were lost for words when they pulled over a motorist and found two children travelling without their seat belts and out of their seats in Mooroolbark yesterday afternoon.
State Highway Patrol officers pulled over the car on Manchester Road when they saw a young child sitting on the centre console of the vehicle about 5.10pm.
When police approached the Holden utility to speak with the driver they couldn’t believe their eyes when a little head popped up from between the front passengers legs.
A 4-year-old boy was found to be sitting in the foot well of the utility.
The 24-year-old Mooroolbark man’s utility was immediately impounded and it is expected he will be charged on summons with traffic related offences and having an unrestrained child in the car.
