Challenger dodges detection

Police are appealing for public help to find a $320,000 car stolen from a car dealership in Ferntree Gully last month.

They believe thieves cut through wire fencing to enter the Hayward Road business in the early hours of Sunday 25 November.

They stole three cars from the showroom, including a black Dodge Challenger Demon, a Ford Mustang and a Toyota Soarer.

The Ford Mustang and Toyota Soarer have since been located but the Dodge Challenger is still missing.

It’s one of only six in Australia.

Knox CIU detectives are investigating and released an image of the vehicle in the hope someone recognises it.
