Festive window fun

Kilsyth kids are spreading Christmas cheer through posters in local shops.

Kilsyth Community Action Group (KCAG) chairman Mike O’Meara said Kilsyth, St Richard’s, Gladesville and Ghilgai primary school students created the festive artwork for shops at Kilsyth Shopping Centre, Churinga and Collins Place.

The Christmas windows exhibition will conclude with a grand showing at a barbecue in the main shopping centre carpark from 4.30pm to 6pm on Thursday 20 December.

The project is part of a KCAG push to brighten up the town centre to make it more appealing to residents and encourage greater engagement.
