A Watch an Act notice has been issued for a bushfire on Rankins Road, Monbulk with aircraft called in to battle the 1-2 hectare blaze.
The bushfire has crossed Rankins Road and is travelling towards Spring Road and David Hill Road, Monbulk and according to CFA media is 1-2 hectares in size.
Eight CFA crews are currently on site and Firefighters have been able to stop the spread of the fire.
CFA urged residents in the area to stay inside, take shelter and monitor conditions.
It’s understood that Rankins Road is currently closed.
