Emergency services personnel responded to reports of a road traffic collision in The Basin at 12.34pm on Tuesday 1 February.
The reports mentioned at least one person who may have been trapped in a vehicle on Bayview Court, near Crete track.
Police advised the incident may cause delays and people should consider bypassing the area, and recommended drivers and pedestrians avoid the area until emergency services have left the scene.
