Lilydale woman killed after being hit by car in Tecoma

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in Tecoma on Friday 18 March.

Police said a woman was struck by a car as she attempted to cross Burwood Highway around 11.12pm.

The pedestrian, a 47-year-old Lilydale woman, sadly died at the scene.

A woman driving the vehicle was uninjured and remained at the scene.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated.
