Knox Council community sport mental health workshops

Knox City Council is offering free mental health workshops for people involved in community sport, to improve mental wellbeing of your club members and build a supportive culture.

The workshops, developed by headspace, will help those in attendance understand why mental health is important, how it connects with community sport, knowledge on how to create a supportive culture at your club, actions and plans to look after others and yourself, and a guide to know whom when and where to look when reaching out for help.

The workshops will run on the following dates:

Wednesday 11 May 6.30pm to 8pm

Friday 20 May 7.30am to 8.30am

Wednesday 8 June 7pm to 8.30pm.
