Police recover trailer stolen from Boronia

A 42-year-old Healesville man will face the Ringwood Magistrates Court after police searched a residential address in Healesville in relation to a stolen trailer.

Police allege the man, along with a 29-year-old Croydon woman, visited a business on Mountain Highway in Boronia on 17 April and stole copper wiring.

Police said the pair then returned later the same evening with a vehicle and stole a tandem trailer.

During the execution of the search warrant on River Street in Healesville, police said they recovered methamphetamine and cannabis.

A 39-year-old man was also taken into custody by police for possessing a drug of dependence, theft of a motor vehicle and warrants.
