Belgrave police kept busy on Saturday night

Police in the Dandenong Ranges were kept busy after responding to multiple collisions on Saturday 18 July.

In Belgrave, police were called to a traffic collision on Hazelvale Road, Tecoma where a vehicle was found in danger of sliding down a steep embankment with a 59-year-old driver unable to remove herself from the vehicle.

Two police officers helped remove her from the vehicle safety before it was towed away.

A short time later, the same two officers responded to a single-vehicle collision at Perrin Creek Road, Olinda.

The driver returned an alleged breath alcohol result of 0.175, resulting in his vehicle being impounded and his license being suspended.
