Man dies in Gembrook harvester accident

A man has tragically died following an incident in Gembrook on Wednesday, 29 June.

The man was injured while using a harvester at a Ure Road farm at about 10.50am and was declared deceased at the scene.

It’s believed the 82-year-old was working alone on a harvester in a paddock before he was found unresponsive.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner and the incident will be investigated by WorkSafe.

Worksafe said the death brings the workplace fatality toll to 24 for 2022.
