A recall has been issued on 78,617 Subaru vehicles after a fault potentially causing moving or rolling away whilst the vehicle is engaged in the park position was found.
The issue is caused by the Electronic Park Brake (EPB) adaptor cord connector having the possibility to not operate as intended.
The recall affects the Liberty sedans, Outback wagons, Levorg wagons, and WRX sedans made between 2015 and 2018.
Impreza models and XV models made between 2017 and 2019 have also been affected.
Affected owners can book their vehicle in for a free rectification at any authorised Subaru Service Centre Australia-wide.
Subaru Australia will contact affected owners in writing to request that owners make an appointment to have the vehicle repaired.

A selection of the nearest Subaru Retailers will be displayed including the contact details to book instantly online or by phone.
