A teenager and a child have both been transported to the hospital after a traffic collision in Upwey on Tuesday 20 September.
The CFA was notified at 4.26pm of reports of a vehicle accident, with the scene being declared under control 10 minutes later.
Paramedics treated a teenage boy for upper body injuries before he was taken to Dandenong Hospital, while a child was taken to the Royal Children’s Hospital for further observation.
Three CFA vehicles from Upwey and Belgrave brigades attended the scene.
A VICSES spokesperson said volunteers from the Knox unit were dispatched to a potential road rescue following a multiple-vehicle collision.
“The crew was stood down on route after confirmation that no one was trapped and returned to the unit.” the spokesperson said.
