Community Safety Officers are visiting a number of properties around the municipality over the next 12 weeks to assist Yarra Ranges Council in updating its animal registration database.
The visits will also enable residents to have a chat with staff about the services and roles of our Community Safety Team, and ask any questions that they might have in relation to domestic animals or the animal registration process.
Pet registrations are not only a legal obligation of owning dogs or cats, but they also play a significant role in helping us reunite you with them if they ever run away or get lost.
Pet registration renewals are due on 10 April each year and can be done easily online by clicking the button below.
