Two men hospitalised after gas bottle explosion in Upwey

Two men are in hospital after a gas bottle exploded in Upwey on Tuesday 4 October.

Emergency services responded to reports of an explosion around 1.30pm.

A 72-year-old man was airlifted to hospital with critical injuries, while a 32-year-old man was transported to hospital with serious injuries. Both were treated for serious burns at the scene by paramedics.
