Applications to join the Knox City Council Environmental Advisory Committee close on Monday 14 November.
“The Environment Advisory Committee has the important role of informing and advising Council on environmental and sustainability matters, and Council’s role in improving the natural and built environment,” she said.
“We are currently inviting applications for the committee. A total of 15 community members will be appointed for a 2-year period.”
The selection criteria include: being over 18 and living or working in Knox, having passion and enthusiasm about creating a sustainable Knox, working or studying in the area of sustainability and environmental management and having enthusiasm about local environmental topics.
