Bayswater voters head to the polls early

According to data from the VEC, Bayswater residents headed to the polls early this year, with over half of enrolled voters in the former voting before election day in the former electorate.

Ahead of Saturday 26 November, 51.8 per cent of Bayswater voters had already cast their ballot, with 12.9 per cent voting via post and 38.3 per cent at pre-polling stations.

In nearby Monbulk, 43.2 per cent of eligible residents had voted, with 14.4 per cent through postal voting and 28.8 per cent heading to the single early voting centre in the electorate.
