SES and paramedics respond to Mt Dandenong motorcycle accident

A motorcyclist was flown by helicopter to the Royal Melbourne Hospital after a crash in Mt Dandenong on Saturday 14 January.

At around 8.05am a man in his 20s left the road while riding his motorbike through Kalorama and Mt Dandenong, receiving multiple life-threatening injuries.

Paramedics treated the man and stabilized his injuries while nine members of Lilydale SES used a spine board, a basket stretcher a low-angle rope system to move the man back onto the road.

The man was then moved to a nearby oval, where he was flown by air ambulance to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in “a critical condition.”
