Have your say on Kings Park upgrades

Knox City Council is seeking feedback for upgrades to Kings Park in Upper Ferntree Gully.

It is home to many local sports and leisure activities such as cricket, baseball, football, outdoor play and walking.

In 2022, clubs that used the space such as the Upper Ferntree Gully Football Club had issues with the clubrooms being unusable since June 2021 due to a faulty roof.

Council commenced work on developing a masterplan for Kings Park in 2021 with the purpose of improving and expanding upon the existing park features and ensuring the park remains an attractive destination for future generations of locals, sporting clubs and visitors.

The draft masterplan has been available, and made based on the feedback from residents. Consultation is now open at www.knox.vic.gov.au/whats-happening/news/share-your-thoughts-draft-kings-park-masterplan and is open until Monday 6 March.

Alternatively, feel free to attend one of the following drop-in sessions in person:

Wednesday 15 February 2023, 11.00am – 1.00pm Ferntree Plaza, 1202 Burwood Highway, Upper Ferntree Gully

Sunday 19 February 2023, 7.30am – 10.30am Kings Park, Upper Ferntree Gully
