Forest Fire Management Victoria is reminding people who rely on firewood when they can collect it, and urges locals to plan ahead.
Firewood can be collected from 1 March to 30 June during Autumn, and 1 September to 30 November during spring.
Firewood can be collected on public land at nominated collection areas.
