Council seeks feedback on outdoor dining parklets

Knox City Council has invited locals to have their say on the future of the outdoor dining parklet program by 17 March.

“The parklet program is a business support initiative, delivered by Council during the pandemic, and funded by the Victorian Government,” the council said.

“A total of nine outdoor dining parklets were installed across Knox to help businesses increase customer capacity, and offer a new outdoor dining experience.”

There are parklets at Chilli and Basil in Bayswater, Paddy’s Tavern in Ferntree Gully and Kokoro Asian Care in Bayswater among others.
