Police are investigating after a man was assaulted at a Bus stop in Ferntree Gully on 4 March.
At around 1.40pm, a 27-year-old man was standing with friends on the corner of Burwood Highway and Westley Street at a bus stop.
Police said it is believed a black Holden Commodore pulled over and an unknown man got out of his car and punched the victim in the face, before fleeing the scene.
The Ferntree Gully man was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have released a image of what the man may look like and detectives are asking any witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage to come forward.
