Bin service changes information nights

Knox City Council will run several information nights about changes to bin services.

“Soon you will be able to add food scraps to your green waste bin, and from July I will be collected weekly instead of fortnightly,” the council said.

“Come along to one of our free information sessions to find out more about the new food and garden bin service and how you can help reduce your household food scraps going to landfill.”

Information nights will be running:

Monday 17 April via Zoom from 2pm to 2.45pm

Thursday 27 April at Ferntree Gully Library from 2pm to 2.45pm

Friday 12 May via zoom from 12.30pm to 1.15pm.
