Local firefighters from Ferntree Gully CFA, Upper Ferntree Gully CFA and Bayswater CFA responded to a fire on Commercial Road on Monday 8 May.
“On route crews noticed significant smoke issuing and found the unit well alight upon arrival,” Ferntree Gully CFA said.
“The unit was significantly damaged but fortunately no one was injured and surrounding properties were protected from any fire damage.”
