A Gembrook man has confessed his body immediately went into shock after discovering he’s won a life-changing $1 million prize in last night’s Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw.
The Victorian held the only division one winning entry in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4287 on Wednesday 17 May 2023. He scored a total prize of $1,000,000.00.
“Wait, are you being serious? This can’t be real, can it?” he laughed when an official from The Lott called to confirm his wonderful windfall.
“Oh my goodness! I’m flabbergasted!
“Bingo, bango, bongo! This is the best phone call I’ve ever had.”
The man said the money will make the “world of difference” for his family, with the cost of living on the rise.
“I’m still shaking. This is incredibly overwhelming,” he said.
“Thank you so much. It’s going to change my life.”
It comes after an Emerald man won $1.7 million in a TattsLotto draw on Saturday 6 May.
The Gembrook local’s winning 12-game QuickPick entry was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4287 on Wednesday 17 May 2023 were 3, 32, 23, 41, 18 and 17, while the supplementary numbers were 19 and 44.
