St Luke’s upbeat about new defibrillator

Community Bank Cockatoo-Gembrook recently supported St Luke’s church in Cockatoo with the purchase of a defibrillator.

New minister, Sandy Solomon, thanked the bank for their assistance in getting the new machine.

In a remarkable display of community support, Community Bank Cockatoo has stepped forward to provide a life-saving defibrillator following a recent incident where a man collapsed at the local food bank.

This timely intervention highlights the bank’s commitment to the well-being and safety of the local community.

Branch Manager, Bruce McConnell advised that the branch has always placed the well-being of its customers and community members at the forefront.

Understanding the critical importance of early defibrillation in cardiac arrest cases, the bank took swift action to provide funding of a defibrillator to St Lukes church in Cockatoo.

This valuable life-saving device will now be accessible to the community in case of future emergencies.

This initiative is part of Community Bank Cockatoo’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and support.

Through various initiatives and partnerships, the bank continues to invest in the well-being and prosperity of the community it serves
