Members from Knox Highway Patrol who were patrolling the Eastern Freeway on the afternoon of Friday 15 September intercepted a 21-year-old male driver who was detected speeding at 157 km/h in a 100 km/h zone.
He was issued with a $962 penalty notice and his licence was immediately suspended for 12-months.
The car was not impounded on this occasion as it did not belong to him.
