Police investigating Sassafras crash

Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that occurred in Sassafras on Friday 3 November.

A Victoria Police spokesperson told the Star Mail it is believed a male driver was travelling along Mountain Highway, when he lost control and crashed into the embankment at about 9.20pm.

“The impact forced the car to flip onto its roof,” the spokesperson said.

“The 25-year-old Sassafras man sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

“The exact cause of the crash is yet to be determined.”

Investigations are ongoing.
