On Sunday 12 November, a 51-year-old male driver was detected speeding at 112 km/h in an 80 km/h zone on the Burwood Hwy, Wantirna South.
The man later returned an Evidentiary Breath Test (EBT) result of 0.064.
The man was issued with penalty notices totalling $1,202 and his licence will be cancelled and disqualified for 3 months.
He will be required to install an alcohol interlock in any vehicle he drives once re-licenced.
