Over 1000 Ford Transit vans recalled

1117 2023-24 Ford Transit Custom vans have been recalled due to a software issue.

Due to a software issue within the Power Steering Control Module (PSCM) the Lane Change Warning Assist (LCWA) feature may not operate as intended. As a result, there is an increased chance of a collision with another vehicle.

A loss of the LCWA feature could increase the risk of an accident, causing serious injury to vehicle occupants and other road users.

Owners will be contacted in writing requesting they contact an Authorised Ford Dealer to have their vehicle rectified free of charge.
