Community members and industry representatives of the Knox area have been invited to be part of the council’s disability advisory committee.
Residents and workers of Knox that have an understanding of the issues impacting people with a disability, their families and carers have an opportunity to join the Knox Council’s Disability advisory committee.
By offering experience and knowledge, applicants can contribute to the council and the Knox community’s future direction for people living with a disability, their families and carers.
The position offers a chance to be valued and supported for your experience and contribution whilst building relationships and networking with committee members and council officers.
The committee meets every second month on a Tuesday night.
