Last Friday evening on 26 July the daily commute saw a traffic accident send one person to hospital in Upper Ferntree Gully.
Four CFA units from Upper Ferntree Gully, Ferntree Gully and Upwey attended the scene alongside SES, FRV, Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria.
A spokesperson from Ambulance Victoria media said that paramedics were called to reports of a collision in Upper Ferntree Gully at around 6.20pm on 26 July 2024.
“One person was transported by road ambulance to Angliss Public Hospital with an upper body injury,” they said.
A CFA spokesperson said that CFA responded to reports of a vehicle accident at around 6:15pm on the Burwood Hwy near Railway Avenue in Upper Ferntree Gully, on Friday 26 July 2024.
“No patients were trapped, CFA crews were required to perform a wash away of oil from the road. The incident was deemed under control at 6:23pm and deemed safe at 6:25pm,” they said.
