Early morning deer accident

An early morning driver had a near miss on Tuesday 10 September when their vehicle collided with a deer in Mount Burnett.

CFA media stated they responded to reports of a vehicle accident at around 5:58am in Mount Burnett.

“One CFA unit from Pakenham Upper attended the scene alongside FRV, Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria,” they said.

“Crews arrived to find a single vehicle road accident and the incident was quickly deemed safe at 6:14pm.”

A media representative from Ambulance Victoria said paramedics were called to the collision in Mount Burnett around 6 am.

“One person was transported by road ambulance to Dandenong Hospital,” they said.
