Ferntree Gully is celebrating it’s new light feature this Friday 27 September on Grand Final Eve.
Hosted by Community Bank this free event runs from 6pm to 8pm and will have a free BBQ, coffee and music and special treats for the kids.
The event is celebrating the new light installation on the trees in the village which have 6,000 sustainable, solar-powered fairy lights attached to them.
On Wednesday 4 September, the lights all came on as one for the first time and the installation will light up the trees from dusk for five hours each evening in the Station Street and Forest Road restaurant areas.
All are welcome this Friday to celebrate the area’s new feature.
