Vaping webinar set to teach strategies to talk to young people

Knox Council will be hosting a free webinar on Tuesday 29 October from 7pm to learn strategies to talk to young people about vaping.

Sharon Torpey from Drug Education Australia will explore the topic of vaping, including covering the changes to the laws in 2024 and the impact of these changes on young people.

This webinar will cover:

The risks/potential harms associated with vaping

The new emerging trend – nicotine pouches

Tips and strategies for talking with young people about vaping

Tips on how to strengthen communication and minimise harm when talking about vaping with the young people in your life

Where to go for further help and support.

The webinar will be hosted online via Zoom on : Tuesday 29 October from 7pm to 8pm.
