Youths arrested

Three youths have been arrested by police after being seen driving a car that was reported stolen from South Melbourne.

On Wednesday 27 November, a 16-year-old male from Yarra, a 17-year-old female from Knox, and a 13-year-old female from Monash were arrested in Ringwood after being observed driving a BMW that was reportedly stolen from South Melbourne the previous night.

The stolen vehicle, with the assistance of PolAir and local police units, was tracked as it made its way from Chirnside Park, through various suburbs, and into Rowville before ultimately returning to Ringwood, where it was abandoned.

Upon reaching Ringwood, the three individuals were seen fleeing the scene and were then arrested.

They are currently assisting police with their ongoing investigation into the incident.
