Ferntree Gully Library and Community Arts Centre set for upgrade

Knox City Council have advised residents in Ferntree Gully that the local library and community arts centre will be closed for the last part of the year and early part of 2025.

The Ferntree Gully Library and Community Arts Centre will be closed from 21 December 2024 – 24 February 2025 for renovation works to upgrade both spaces.

During this time, Bayswater, Knox and Rowville Libraries will be open and operating as usual. Should you have books to return, you’ll be able to do so at these libraries.

When the centre reopens, the community will be able to enjoy upgraded bathrooms, refreshed interiors, and new pottery kilns.

The Community arts centre’s term one program will commence on Monday 24 February.

Knox Council advised people via their webpage that they thank people for their patience during this time and look forward to welcoming people back in the new year.
