Pop up tent recalled

A product recall has been issued for a pop up swim tent available for purchase on Temu on 9 January.

The pop-up beach tent with a built-in small pool, has been recalled due to safety concerns.

“The products do not have the required warning signs,” Product Safety Australia said in the recall notice.

“Risk of serious injury or death from drowning if consumers are not aware of these hazards.”

The item, which includes ground spikes and a storage bag, fails to meet the mandatory safety standards for portable swimming pools.

The primary issue lies in the absence of required warning signs, which could put consumers at risk of serious injury or death from drowning.

Consumers who have purchased the product are advised to stop using it immediately. To request a refund, customers should contact the seller, YIQISHENG OUTDOOR, via email at 1113658985@qq.com.
