The Mayor, councillors, executive leadership and staff of Knox City Council are deeply saddened by the passing of former Knox councillor and mayor Ray Addicoat, aged 96.
Ray served on Council for 13 years from 1969-1981, which included a term as mayor from 1974-1975.
His dedication and commitment to the Knox community and local government will long be remembered. Deepest sympathies are extended to Ray’s family at this difficult time.
The flag at the Knox Civic Centre will be flown at half mast on Friday 17 January in honour of Ray.
