Knox City Council is hosting free evening celebrating local women in business as they share their inspiring stories of resilience, overcoming obstacles, and empowering others in early March.
The event is a opportunity for people to connect with like-minded women and expand their networks while enjoying complimentary refreshments.
Three guest speakers will be present for the evening and they include Lillie Giang, the owner of The Food Affectionist and President of Feed One Feed All, Latinka Cubitt the owner of LaTink, a collection of bespoke Australian-made products, and co-owner of Catten Industries, a leading local manufacturer and Christy Roberts, a life, results, and leadership coach, speaker, educator, and global trainer of Self-Directed Healing practitioners.
Ms Giang is a community champion dedicated to food security, offering nutritious home-cooked meals to those in need. She is also a former Multicultural Ambassador for the Mental Health Foundation, while Ms Cubitt was named the 2024 Victorian Female Manufacturer of the Year and is a strong advocate for gender diversity in manufacturing and Ms Roberts was recently honored with the 2023 Alternative Therapy Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Award.
The event is set to take place on 5 March at the Knox City Council, Civic Centre, Room 3, 511 Burwood Hwy, Wantirna South VIC 3152 from 6pm to 8pm.
