Update: Police have advised that Melissa has been found on Tuesday 18 March.
An out of character disappearance had Police asking the community for aid locating any sign of a woman from Tecoma, missing since last Friday.
Authorities appealed to the public for assistance to help locate 59 year old Melisa.
From Tecoma, Melissa was last seen on Boronia Road in Boronia around 4:45pm on 14 March.
Police and family were concerned for her welfare, as her disappearance was considered out of character.
Melissa is described as Caucasian, approximately 162 cm tall, with a medium build and auburn/red hair. She was last seen wearing jeans, a brown cardigan, black work boots, and carrying a red handbag.
An image of Melissa was released in hopes that someone could provide information regarding her whereabouts.
