Fatal collision in Boronia

Police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck in Boronia this evening.

It is understood a vehicle collided with the pedestrian on Boronia Road on Wednesday, 3 July, around 7pm.

The pedestrian was crossing the road near Rathmullen Road.

The yet to be formally identified male pedestrian died at the scene

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is speaking with police.

Police are working to establish the circumstances of the collision.
