Minor works completed across the Yarra Ranges

Last month, a number of minor works were completed by the Yarra Ranges Council – here’s a quick rundown for the Hills area.

In the Dandenong Ranges area several suburbs have received little improvements and upgrades to regular public spaces.

In the Monbulk Township garden bed mulching and a new garden bed was installed outside Dr Dan’s, along with footpath and tactile rectification works. The Main Street in Monbulk had an installation of a new garden bed and seat, plus dahlia garden beds preparation.

Swales Road, Macclesfield had culvert repair works.

In Karwarra the Garden Hall entry had a renewal. Erith Lane and Kalorama Terrace Kalorama footpath link gravel had resheeting completed.

Thomson Avene / Upper Coonara Road Intersection in Olinda received work on drainage and road sealing.

The Belgrave Community Hub had a rectification of water ingress issues both internally and externally.

Monbulk Road in Kallista had some retaining wall construction, along with various locations receiving retaining wall works, while Grantulla Road, Kallista, had road maintenance works.

In Belgrave South, along Mt Morton Road, had road maintenance works and the Belgrave South Playspace infant swing seat renewal.

The Patch Hall had some plantings while the Doongalla Bowman Pavilion had fibreglass sheeting on walls replaced.

Sassafras Township received the installation of two new seats, and 4 Alice Street, Sassafras received road widening, and the Upwey community garden was also mulched.
