Knox Police extended their heartfelt thanks to the members of Knox CFA Group, FRV Station 85, and SES Knox for their powerful show of unity and support on the evening of Friday, 29 August, 2025.

The powerful display of unity and solidarity served as a moving reminder of the shared purpose and strong bonds within the emergency services community.

Senior Sergeant Scott Barnes, Knox Police Station Commander, expressed deep gratitude for the support shown during this difficult time.

He said the unwavering compassion and respect from colleagues brought comfort and strengthened connections across services.

“This support means more than words can express,” Senior Sergeant Barnes said.

“We are truly grateful for everyone standing with us, not only in grief but in honour, remembrance, and unity.”
