5 new bike repair stations in Knox

Knox City Council have installed five new bike repair stations on its shared paths to support cycling in Knox, each station contains handy tools to help you maintain and repair your bike.

New locations of the bike repair stations are: Knox Park, Knoxfield, Borg Crescent/Ferntree Gully Road, Scoresby, Napoleon Road/Wellington Road, Lysterfield, Dandenong Creek Trail at Ricdanic Drive, Bayswater, Maryville Way, Boronia.

The stations have been installed in popular cycling locations to maximise usage from cyclists.

Knox has a total of 19 stations. You can find your nearest station by viewing the map.

Each station contains bike tools that are easy to use. These include various screwdrivers, wrenches, tire levers and tire pumps.

From Knox Council’s community engagement on the Cycling Action Plan in 2024, a number of people requested more bike repair stations to be installed with suggested locations. We have considered this feedback to deliver five new stations in the last financial year 2024/2025.

Knox is one of Victoria’s most cycling-friendly cities. There are over 100km of shared paths that connect major parks, reserves, schools and shopping precincts.

Knox Cycling Action Plan aims to improve cycling in Knox over a 10-year period, further information is available the plan’s webpage.
