New op shop for Foothills

There is a Foothills Community Op Shops store now open in the Hills.

You might be familiar with the Foothills Community Op Shop, tucked away down Sandells Road in Tecoma. It’s a place to stop for a natter and a browse; to find hidden gems in rails of pre-loved clothes; for kids to play while you consider your next craft project or find your next favourite book.

In December, Foothills opened the doors to our new, larger store in Upwey, at the Foothills Community Hub (twice the op shops, twice the love!)

These stores offer more than just a bargain. The group’s goal is to support the local community by providing affordable, pre-loved clothes, toys, games, books, and all manner of pretty, quirky and collectable things. Plus, all proceeds fund their meal nights and community support programs.

The spaces are designed to be kid-friendly and welcoming. And in Upwey, you can even enjoy a coffee while you peruse.

Come in and say hello. The volunteers are always up for a good chat.
