Eyewatch Police reported that they found a 71-year-old male driver hiding in bushes on a strangers property after stopping short of a Preliminary Breath Testing site in Rowville.

Police said that his licence had been previously cancelled for drink-driving offences and the man returned an Evidentiary Breath Test (EBT) result of 0.050 that evening.

The man had his vehicle was immediately impounded for 30 days at a cost of 1,016 dollars.

Police said via social media that he will be charged on summons to attend court.
